Gabrielle Deschenes

Gabrielle Deschenes is a Nurse Practitioner at the Sharbot Lake Family Health Team.

She holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from McMaster University, a Masters of Nursing from Athabasca University, and completed her Nurse Practitioner at Queen's University.

Gabrielle began her career in 2015 working with Toronto Public Health where she worked in a breastfeeding clinic and provided counselling to women experiencing perinatal and postpartum mood changes. More recently she has been working as an RN at the HDH urgent care centre.

Gabrielle has a strong belief in patients and families being partners in healthcare and in taking a community-focused/health promotion approach to care.

Gabrielle loves to hike and take her small dog Herbie on adventures.
