At Sharbot Lake Family Health Team
, we are working together with individuals, families, and our rural community to promote health, prevent disease and provide effective care now and into the future.  We are a not-for-profit organization with a board of the community for the community.

Board members are actively involved in organizational governance and are expected to attend monthly board meetings (1-2 hours evenings), participate in board committees as needed, and be in tune with broader health issues in the community.

The board needs a variety of skills, with a strong emphasis on board candidates with program development, performance measurement, and accounting expertise, as well as a good general awareness of broader health care issues.

The Nominating Committee is accepting applications until August 16, 2021.
