At Sharbot Lake Family Health Team, we are working together with individuals, families, and our rural community to promote health, prevent disease and provide effective care now and into the future. We are a not-for-profit organization with a board of the community for the community.
Board members are actively involved in organizational governance and are expected to attend monthly board meetings (1-2 hours evenings), participate in board committees as needed, and be in tune with broader health issues in the community.
The board needs a variety of skills, with a strong emphasis on board candidates with program development, performance measurement, and accounting expertise, as well as a good general awareness of broader health care issues.
The Nominating Committee is accepting applications until August 16, 2021.
