Heather Stinson
Occupational Therapist, MOT
Heather has been practicing occupational therapy since 2015 when she graduated from Queen’s University with her Master’s degree. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph and obtained a diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition. Heather has a diverse background providing occupational therapy and case management services to clients across the lifespan with a variety of impairments. Her areas of practice include geriatrics, mental health, cognitive health, chronic pain management, acquired brain injury, adaptive aids and equipment prescription, developmental disabilities and dual diagnosis, as well as health promotion and preventative healthcare. She is also a qualified ADP seating and mobility assessor. Above all, Heather strives to maintain a holistic and client centered approach to optimize independence and engagement in valued daily activities. Heather was born and raised in the Sharbot Lake area and feels privileged to provide services in this wonderful community.
